Launched in 2021, the NEO fellowship aims to explore new and exciting ways that museums can critically engage with its collections.

The NEO Collections project is a collaboration between the Museum für Kunst & Gewerbe in Hamburg, Germany, National Museum Stockholm, Sweden, the Übersee-Museum in Bremen, Germany. The project is funded by the Digital Culture Programme of the Kulturstiftung des Bundes (German Federal Cultural Foundation).
