Feathered treasures

Dating back to the colonial 19th century, the natural history collection of the Übersee-Museum holds hundreds of specimens of Oceania birds.

The bird collection serves as a record and testament to the biodiversity of Pacific Islands. From Aotearoa New Zealand, to New Guinea and the Hawai'i Archipelago.
